Todd Kessler (2-28-6) - Todd is a solo artist playing all over including the 2003 New York International Music Festival. Todd plays regularly in the Chicago and Champaign areas and has played internationally in Amsterdam and Berlin. Ronny Criss (2-28-6) - Ronny's music leans more towards an alternative Country or Folk based rock sound that pulls from a huge pull of artist that inspired him along the way. Sarah Potenza (2-28-6) - She has been hailed by the Providence Journal as having, “a brassy and bold sound.” Quoting the Providence Phoenix “Newcomer Sarah Potenza writes songs that are as real as her performances, and as powerful as her voice. She is gonna be huge." Digable Cats (1-26-6) - The group draws from the tradition of guitar-pop while folding in the rootsy, easy-going maturity of early 90s folk-rock, giving them the unique ability to appeal to a more refined, mellowed-out cross-section of music lovers.

Trevorside (11-30-5) - Making music that points to something bigger than us all...The Sun of the Soul. Noah Gabriel (11-30-5) - Noah Gabriel, singer/songwriter, was born in 1983 in Aurora, IL. His influences range from the guitarists Jimi Hendrix, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Chris Whitley, and David Gilmour, to the songwriters, Amy Mann, Adam Duritz (Counting Crows), and many others. Aristacats (10-26-5) - Homegrown Chicago hip-hop in some of it's finest forms. Check out the some of the original beats by Agent Orange and Exposé. Jonny Rumble (10-19-5) - Jonny Rumble represent a different sound compared to most bands on the radio, and are continually told after their performances just how refreshing that sound really is. 8" Betsy (10-19-5) - You'll find pockets full of punk rock and 3 girls who can't wait to show you how loud they can be. Charcoal (9-17-5) - Profound & mesmerizing melodies and intertwined arrangements, the music of Charcoal hopes to represent the struggle and Mal de Vivre which binds the society of our era. Machines That Think (9-15-5) - Check out this up-and-coming progressive indie band out of Champaign, IL. members Bryan Luczkiw - Guitar, Josh Kalvelage - Guitar, Chip Kohr - Bass, Nick Lorenz - Drums, Pranay Patel - Vocals/Guitar Wonderlust (8-25-5) - Wonderlust’s members bring an eclectic and diverse array of influences to the table when creating their original music, which can be described as powerful, soulful, dynamic rock. Now Now (8-16-5) - Now Now is Alison Breitman's new band and these guys are cool. Their ever-evolving style has adopted the edge that wisdom has provided through the years, and it carries into the theme and feel of her music Capital Eye (7-22-5) - Capital Eye is a high-energy rock band from Chicago, Illinois. Expanding on the pop/punk genre, their catchy riffs and layered melodies incorporate their punk, metal, alternative, 50’s rock and 80’s pop/rock influences. Lynn Thompson (7-22-5) - Singer songwriter Lynn Thompson spans a wildly eclectic spectrum of musical styles; his acoustic frenzy is haunting and captivating. The Blissters (6-11-5) - After honing a sweet, summery sound that smacks of the Beatles, the Pixies, the Vaselines, and the Weezer, the band hit the studio to record a super rad demo Mic One (5-20-5) - Performs his shows with a live band and his music effortlessly reflects the diversity of Chicago. He is distinguished from the obvious comparisons to other white rappers by his talents as a writer producer and musician. Twice Pipes (5-11-5) - They play hot-rod inspired mod/punk/surf-rock. They formed in Chicago (early 2003) 8" Betsy (5-11-5) - You'll find pockets full of punk rock and 3 girls who can't wait to show you how loud they can be. Entrinzic (4-14-5) - Rooted in rock, reggae, and funk, Entrinzic`s vibe of music is best described as a mixture of high-energy grooves and tasteful 3-part vocals. The Dirty Blue (4-14-5) - An eclectic compilation of catchy songs on the surface, this visionary material documents its thought-provoking depth while never forgetting the value of strong, crunching hooks. Lucid Ground (12-3-5) - Lucid Ground is an all original Modern Rock band from Chicago. One would best describe their sound as powerful, melodic, and groove-driven with massive, radio friendly hooks. Pickpockets (11-30-5) - They play rousing and literate indie-pop/rock - - more Morrissey than Morrison (Van or Jim), more Jesus and Mary Chain than Jesus Christ Superstar, more Kim Deal than Kim Carnes. David King aka the Duke of Uke and His Novelty Orchestra (11-25-5) - Writes infectious songs for the electric ukulele in which the cleverness of the lyrics doesn't eclipse the sheer funk and beauty of the melodies. While many people view the ukulele as a novelty instrument, the Duke showcases it as the serious and versatile instrument it is. Leeroy (10-19-5) - By having cross genre influences, Leeroy is a band pushing boundaries. Leeroy defies the listener's initial expectations by turning accessible rock songs into rave ups. Ascot Fire (10-19-5) - Drawing influences from many different bands, Ascot Fire has been described as a melodic assault of pop, rock, and punk combined with razor sharp hooks, driving rythyms, and catchy lyrics. Hope Littwin (9-15-5) - Eighteen year-old female singer and songwriter, Hope fuses varied art forms into musical creations. She approaches the acoustic guitar so as to exploit it in its totality. Seeks to perform both as a solo artist and in collaboration with artists of all genres. The Rikters (9-15-5) - The Rikters are a power rock trio that combines the thoughtful harmony and vocal range of Jeff Buckley with the hard, driving rhythm of Tool. BenCarBen (8-25-5) - BenCarBen is a band that loves nothing more then to play live and share their music (for free when possible) with everybody who is willing to listen. From the north suburbs of Chicago .The Nix (7-22-5) - "We are well known for the huge growth on Andrew’s left shoulder-wait, no, that can’t be right. I think we are known for intense, loud, violent live performances, in which we tend to break a lot of our own instruments and band members. No, maybe it’s the live performances AND the growth. That’d make sense." Illaziam (7-22-5) - draws from many influences as old as Black Sabbath and as new as TOOL and DOWN to form their sound. A band that has a strong old school foundation executed with a fresh new perspective. Qwel (7-3-5) - Seasoned within Chicago’s unrelenting battle circuit and with his clever lyricism and cutting edge versatility and topics, Qwel continues to fight to gain legitimacy for hip hop. River Oaks (6-16-5) - Here we go with another installment of this high energy rock group. Cool stuff. Dormlife (6-16-5) - Dormlife is back with another set of melodic acoustical rock Carson's Window (6-16-5) - These guys won Gojangle's War of Independants. The group combines the sounds of classical, rock & blues, mixed with a bit of jazz. The genre is Pop, but the melodic sounds of the Piano and Violin amplify the music to a classical nature. Along with Caryn’s sultry voice, the music gives way to memorable melodies accompanied by emotional & intense lyrics. Jonny Rumble (6-11-5) - OK. We've recorded Jonny Rumble before, and they were great. But this is the best set I've seen these guys do. It really kicks ass! Sean Davis (6-11-5) - From his bio: "Brian Wilson, Jeff Tweedy, Elvis Costello, Tom Waits, Ray Davies, and Bob Dylan’s landscaper are all working with Sean on his upcoming full length CD, which will be put out on the “Please somebody give me a chance I’m gonna’ be too old to sell soon” label in the next year." Good stuff sally (5-11-5) - confusion was struck up once again, and the children played on. check out this great chicago band that refuses captialization. Leeroy (5-11-5) - Sexy voice with a good amount of pop rock styling. Mabel (5-4-5) - Rather than conform to what is already out there, Mabel combines and bends the rock and pop genres into something that is completely their own. Speedwell (5-4-5) - With influences ranging from The Rolling Stones to Radiohead, they have fused sounds from the past and present. River Oaks (4-14-5) - What do you get when you cross Queen, Guns n Roses, The Pixies and Ween? The story of River Oaks is simple you keep your ego and attitude’s at home and play from the heart. Second Hand (4-14-5) - Powerful acoustic chords blended seamlessly with soaring melodies, Jake’s songs easily become anthems for any generation. My Left Arm (12-02-04) - My Left Arm is a 3 piece rock band from Chicago. Creating their own brand of pop, punk and garage they keep things simple and powerful. They`ve just released their full length record with indie producer Brian Deck at Engine Studios. On A Sun (12-01-04) - They wanted power and drive as well as mystique and intrigue with a constant yet subtle twist of innovation. This has led to comparisons by fans, newspaper critics, radio personalities and other musicians to bands such as Radiohead, Pink Floyd, Pearl Jam, Incubus, Foo Fighters, Jeff Buckley, Oasis, and The Verve as well as others. Everything has its place, from jangly melodic pop to feedback-drenched meditations, to shoegazing soundscapes to Sabbathesque riff-rock. Entrinzic (11-06-04) - Rooted in rock, reggae, and funk, Entrinzic`s vibe of music is best described as a mixture of high-energy grooves and tasteful 3-part vocals. With a well-arranged writing style that never dismisses the original feeling of the song, the band balances the art of form and freedom.
